DAUGHTERS OF THE DUST BAG pharaoh sleep in dirty hotels they got their tongues tattooed so
they can speak in hieroglyphs. the silent side eye of 400 years of -ism done got their bangers turned
around and pointed at their own balenciaga replicas. we could cook your dinner...we could shine your
shoes... we could be fucking your senators.. wait, do you like this system? does it work for you? this ain’t
no phase two universe or alternate time zone where everything you see is in sepia overtones or through a fish-lens haze, my nigga these the last days. Fish-lense haze, my nigga! These been the last days our
queer bodies line the halls of their shelters for days. daughters of the dust bag: that's not ash! We didn't
burn down their towers, it's just snow. you're not just "body parts", you're snow. this is all that's left

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
